A typical day at WVOC includes three meals served family-style in our dining hall, and an afternoon snack. Fresh fruit is available to students all day long.

Our chef prepares kid-friendly meals that are healthy and nutritious. We use the highest quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. We offer a yogurt and oatmeal bar during breakfast, and a salad bar accompanies lunch and dinner.

We know that many students have dietary restrictions or allergies. We do all that we can to accommodate those concerns, including keeping WVOC totally nut-free. Please get in touch with us to discuss any specific food-related concerns.

At WVOC, we think it’s important to understand where our food comes from and how our food choices impact the environment. We use the lunch period as an opportunity to teach students about food systems, including topics like composting and growing your own food.
